A warm greeting

A heartfelt greeting is part of what makes a church a church. No matter what question you might have, just ask. Our greeters are there to help you get settled and comfortable.

Acceptance

A casual atmosphere where friendships can form and relationships deepen. A place that is serious about joy, the kind of joy that comes from real connection with God and others.

Conversation

Expect to be noticed. Expect people to say something like, “Hi, we haven’t met before, is this your first time?” Expect people to reach out to you in love.

Worship

We enjoy music, both hymns and contemporary, to express our worship to God and to honor Him.

Truth

The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. At Calvary we seek to explore, understand and apply God’s truth to our lives at every level in a spirit of love.

Our mission

Calvary exists…

to honor and glorify God by obeying Jesus’ command to make disciples of all people groups. We accomplish this through our Mission and Core Values.

Reach

Reaching our community and beyond with the good news that Jesus saves.Luke 15; 19:10

Teach

Teaching believers through the Bible how to love God and love their neighbors as themselves.Colossians 1:28; Matthew 22:37–40

Send

Sending those believers back out into the world to share with others the story of how Jesus saved them.Romans 10:13–15; Acts 1:8

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19–20

What we believe

Connected to God by faith in Jesus

At Calvary we focus on helping people understand what it means to be a follower of God; to be connected to Him by faith in Jesus.

That focus can be seen in the way we:

  1. Point people to faith in Jesus
  2. Provide an environment for learning and growth
  3. Offer opportunities to participate in the ministry of the Church
The authority and power of the Bible. We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
